I have had countless dreams that seem so real; last night it happened again. It was rather long so I’ll just cut to the end: A guy came up behind me and started bashing my head in with a bat.
With my headache being pretty bad everyday for the past month or so, I guess it’s not surprising that I dream of head trauma.
Anyway, time for work.

Roof Leak Hack
Well, today they came up with a temporary hack to my roof leak problem. I think a picture will speak for itself.
Now, the piece of wood and metal hanging is very temporary. It started raining before they could put the hack in so it wouldn’t seal well. Once things are dry they will be back to seal the tray and they say the water will run down the tube. We’ll see.
It will probably be a year or two before the roof is actually replaced and this tray will no longer be needed.

Alan Wake
When I watched the trailer for this game I was not sure if I would like it, but curious enough to give it a try.
At first I wasn’t crazy about the game, but after a couple hours I really got into it. I was worried it was going to be your typical zombie game, but it’s not. I won’t give anything away here; it’s best if you discover the story as it unfolds in the game.
I’ll be playing this one a lot, if for no other reason than to collect all of the manuscript pages and other items.

Two Weeks… No Coke
Hi,
I went for over two weeks without any soda just to see if that made any difference with my headaches. No, I still had bad headaches during this time.
However, today I grabbed my favorite soda, Coca-Cola and was surprised with my first sip; it wasn’t anywhere near as good as I had remembered. Could it be that it wasn’t the taste that kept me drinking it but just a habit?
Since it wasn’t that great, I don’t think I’ll be drinking any soda for a while. Let’s see how long I go before trying again. I’ll probably go with my second favorite next time.

Splinter Cell – Conviction
This game is so much fun! They added some nice features which make Sam truly awesome.
I’ve played through this game a few times and there are a couple spots that give me a lot of trouble, which is where I start cussing, but in general the difficulty level is just right (for me).
If you’re into stealth games you will really enjoy this one.

You Shook Me
Hi all,
It’s been a while and I finally got around to playing with a new recording toy. Since my drum machine was already setup to play “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC I decided to throw down some tracks.
While there are mistakes that I didn’t want to take the time to correct, I think it turned out pretty good considering that I rarely play anymore. You can download the song here.

Neck Pain Continues…
I had bad neck pain all night and though the day. I’m starting to wonder if it’s another herniated disc; I hope not. I don’t want any more surgery.
Something tells me Monday is not going to be a fun day at work.

Silver Tweet
Well, I’m going to try developing my own Twitter client using Silverlight. Why? Because none of the Twitter clients I’ve used work the way I would like.
Now, this is just a side project so it’s going to take quite a while before there is anything to show. I’ll keep you posted.
